This year Government of India, Health and Family Welfare department has permitted 20 new medical colleges in India, with this they have raised 2400 new seats in country. This is the totally new medical colleges. There are almost 10 more medical colleges where they have permitted increasing in seats.

It is great and mammoth task of the Medical Council of India for this year. They have conducted large number of inspections in all over country and finally decided to give permission these 20 new medical colleges.  Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat state have got three new medical colleges.
