Eligibility to appear for the Entrance Examination:

The candidate must have studied and completed the M.B.B.S. degree course from a recognized medical college included in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council, Act 1956 and has obtained permanent registration certificate either from Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Council after completing one year internship.
ii. Candidates who after passing the final qualifying examination (M.B.B.S. recognized by the Medical Council of India) are undergoing 12 month Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship and are likely to complete the same on or before 31.03.2014.
iii.Failure to produce the permanent registration certificate with Medical Council of India as in (i) within a period of one month from the date of admission above may lead to cancellation of admission and in such an event the candidate is liable to pay the institution all the loss the institution may suffer on account of such cancellation.

AIPGMEE 2014 - For admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses Admission Session 2014

AIPGMEE is  the  eligibility-cum-ranking  examination  prescribed  as  the  single  entrance  examination
for  admission to  All India  50% quota of MD/MS/Diploma Seats – 2014  Admission Session (except
Jammu  &  Kashmir  and  Andhra  Pradesh).
The National Board of Examinations has been notified by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Government  of  India  to  conduct  a  competitive  entrance  examination  on  All-India  Basis  for  admission to  All  India  50%  quota  MD/MS/Diploma  Seats  –  2014  Admission  Session  (except  for  colleges located  in  Jammu  &  Kashmir  and  Andhra  Pradesh).

The State Governments of Haryana, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and University of Delhi shall utilize the results of  2014  for  admission to  MD/MS/ PG Diploma courses at colleges under their control.  These  states  shall  not  be  conducting  an  entrance  examination  of  their  own.
Admission  to  MD/MS/ PG  Diploma  courses  at  institutes  under  Armed  Forces  Medical Services  shall
also  be  made  on  the  basis  of  results  of  this test.
The  test  shall be conducted as a Computer Based T est (CBT)  from  November 25 ,  2013 to
December 6 , 2013 (with 26  & 29  November; 1  & 4  December as non-testing days) at 70 test
centres  located  at  38  cities  across  the  country .

Eligibility  Criteria  for    2014  :  Candidates  who  are  in  possession  of  MBBS degree/Provisional  MBBS Pass  Certificate  from  an  Institute  (except  colleges/  universities  located  in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh) recognized  as per the  provisions of the  Indian  Medical Council Act  and  possess  permanent  or  provisional  registration  certificate  of  MBBS qualification issued  by the  Medical Council of India  /  State Medical Council and have completed  one year  of internship  or  likely  to  complete  on  or  before  31   March  2014  may  apply  for    through  online application  system  at  www.nbe.gov .in

the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) is implementing two schemes of Scholarship for Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, for the students with disabilities. Under these schemes, 2000 new scholarships are provided every year for pursuing higher/professional/technical courses.

1. Scholarship Scheme (Trust Fund):Under this scheme, 1500 Scholarships are provided to eligible differenty-abled students for Degree and Post Graduate level professional and technical courses from recognized institutions in India. GAIMS Bhuj Gujarat announces the NRI admission 2013-14

A candidate seeking admission to the M.B.B.S.  course  in First Year  in  this college on NRI
Quota  seats  must submit his application in writing in the prescribed form. The form  can  be
downloaded from Institute’s website : www.gaims.ac.in and is required to submitted at the office of
the Director  with  Rs.15,000/-  processing fee in cash  /  Demand Draft. The form, duly filled and
signed,  together with  two  self-addressed  envelopes  with necessary postage tickets  and  crossed
Demand Drafts  submitted Personally  (Between 10:00 AM to  5:00 PM  Except Sunday and
Public Holiday)  or through Registered  Post so as to reach the  office of the Director  on or
before the prescribed last date  as mentioned  in the local newspaper and/or on the college
notice board. No application  will be accepted or considered for admission which is  received
after the prescribed  last date irrespective of any reason whatsoever, including delay in postal
transit, or non-receipt or late receipt of the application. Incomplete application will be rejected. If
the payment is made by Demand Draft, it should be payable to "GUJARAT ADANI INSTITUTE
OF MEDICAL SCIENCES" at Ahmedabad.

ELIGIBILITY
(a) (i) A candidate shall be Non-Resident Indian, or
(ii) his/her parents or in absence of his/her parents, his/her legal guardian shall be Non Resident
Indian, or
(iii) he/she shall be dependent of Non Resident Indian for the educational  purposes and shall have
necessary proof/evidence in support of his dependent
(b) A candidate shall have completed 17 years of age on 31
st
December of the Academic Year for
which the admission are being conducted. Provided that in case of under age candidate, he/she
may be granted  admission at the time of counseling but his/her academic term shall start from
the day when he/she completes 17 years of age and his/her term in the concerned Professional
Medical Educational College or Institution shall commence after completion of age of 17 years.
(c) For Bonafide NRI students, residing abroad, the qualifying examination  for admission to the
first MBBS course will be passing of the Higher  Secondary Certificate Examination or its
equivalent examination (i.e. XII standard) of  science stream of the respective country abroad.
The study should comprise of Physics, Chemistry, & Biology. The candidate should have secured
minimum 50% marks (as per Medical Council of India  norms)
(d)  Bonafide NRI students shall be required to produce equivalence  certificate, from the
Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar or Association of Indian Universities,
New Delhi of his/her passing the qualifying examination of the country to which such examination
relates.
(e) Similarly “Migration Certificate” should be obtained from KSKV Kachchh University by the
NRI student who have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or its Equivalent
Examination of Science Stream from India, but conducted by Higher Secondary Examination
Board of respective State  other than Gujarat Higher Secondary Examination Board, before
seeking admission to the college.

The applicant will have to pay Rs.  15,000/-  as  Processing  Fee  at  the time of  submitting the
application form , which is non- refundable.

2.2 The candidate should have completed 17 years of age by 31st December of the year of

b) If an under age candidate becomes eligible to be admitted as per his/her merit position,
he/she will be offered admission
c) He/she will be enrolled only after he/she completes the age of 17 years and the rules
governing granting of terms by Saurashtra University will be applicable in such cases.
2.3 Those applying for admission in NRI quota with qualifying examination from Boards other
than Gujarat Secondary Education Board, should obtain and submit the certificate of
equivalence from competent authority at the time of application, ascertaining that the
qualifying examination passed by him/her is equivalent to HSC of Gujarat Board. Such
candidates also should obtain eligibility certificate from Saurashtra University within the
stipulated date.
2.4 Incomplete applications and applications received after the stipulated last date will be
summarily rejected without any further communication.

In addition, all parents/guardians of NRI/NRI sponsored candidates are to produce a bank guarantee for tuition fees for the first year duration of course at the time of admission. Admission Notice for NRI seats in Post Graduate Courses, Session 2015

The admission to NRI seats shall be on the basis of merit of NEET-PG/NEET-PG(MDS)-
2015.
Application form for issuing of Eligibility certificate is available from the University
counter OR can be downloaded from University website (www.bfuhs.ac.in).
Eligibility : * NRI who passed MBBS/BDS
* Must have completed internship by 31-3-2015
* Must be qualified- NEET-PG/NEET(MDS)
After getting Eligibility certificate, candidate has to apply to the University for
Admission. The admission shall be on the basis of merit of NEETPG-2015
After getting Provisional Eligibility/ Equivalency certificate, candidate has to apply on prescribed application form upto 25.03.2015 by 5.00 PM to the University for Special Test/Counselling for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS Courses under NRI quota in Private colleges for session 2015.The admission shall be on the basis of merit of Special Test.
Punjab Govt. vide its Notification No. 5/10/2012-3HB-III/662 has notified that 15% seats
of total seats are reserved for NRI’s in PG courses at Private colleges in order to
preference as under:
Category I : NRIs who originally belonged to State of Punjab
Category II : NRIs who originally belonged to an Indian state other than Punjab

NRI MBBS seats for PramukhSwami Medical College 2014-15

P S MEdical College, Karamsad Gujarat started the invitation to application for NRI MBBS seats admission for the year 2014-15.
Application to reach on or before the due date, 10th July 2014.
(Postal delay or loss of application form in post would be the sole responsibility of the Applicant)
Merit List will be put up on or after 15th July 2013, on the website.

Every application for admission shall be filled up in the prescribed form, accompanied by application fee if prescribed, and supporting documents etc., and submitted within the notified due date.
After the expiry of the last date of submitting application for admission, as soon as possible, the applications would be processed and a merit list prepared.
Note: Admission to NRI seat would be subject to rules framed by the Admission Committee for Professional Medical Educational Courses/ Govt. of Gujarat / MCI / Competent Authority.
The merit order will be first decided on the basis of aggregate marks in external examination in theory of the science subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Biology at HSCE or its equivalent examination.
The criteria for deciding merit order in case of students having equal merit marks shall be in the following sequence, namely:-
a. The candidate who has obtained higher marks in the theory subject of Biology in qualifying examination.
b. Higher marks obtained in English subject in qualifying examination.
c. Higher Marks Obtained in secondary school certificate examination (Standard 10), and
d. Date of Birth (Candidate who is older in age shall be given priority).
The provisional admission is also subject to confirmation of the eligibility and NRI status by the University / Committee appointed by the competent authority.

Admission on the Non-Resident Indian seats shall be given by the College on the basis of merit list of the candidates who have applied for admission in the following manner, namely:-
(i) The candidate who is Non-Resident Indian as also the candidate whose parents and in the absence of his/her parents, his/her legal guardian who is Non-Resident Indian, shall be offered the Non-Resident Indian;
(ii) And thereafter, the Non-Resident Indian seats, if remains vacant, shall be offered to the candidate who is dependant of the Non-Resident Indian;
(iii) The candidate whose guardian is Non-Resident Indian shall have to produce necessary proof to the satisfaction of the College establishing that in the absence of his/her parents, the concerned person has been legally appointed as his /her guardian; and ,
(iv) The candidate who is dependent of the Non-Resident Indian shall have to produce necessary proof in support thereof to the satisfaction of the College.

Procedure for Application:
i. The attached application form must be filled in by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS, with Blue/Black ink.
ii. The GENUINE NRI application form must be accompanied by attested and clear photocopies of the prescribed documents :
a) Transcript certificate from school for Four years ( 9,10,11 & 12 standards)
b) Birth Certificate and Photocopy of Passport, Visa of student & Resident proof of applicant and Parent (Colour copies of all pages including blank)
c) High School Diploma / Graduation Certificate
d) Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, AIU House, Kotla
Marg, New Delhi – 110 002 or Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar
e) Accreditation Status of the School / School Profile
f) Attested copy of the Nationality and Citizenship of applicant and parent.

vi. Documents submitted along with the application will not be returned
vii. At the time of reporting for admission, the candidate is required to produce all the documents in original and two sets of photocopies. If the candidate is admitted, the College will retain these documents till he/she completes the course. If the candidate fails to produce any of the documents listed above, he/she will instantaneously forfeit his/her claim for a seat.
viii. Students who have migrated from other Universities/Board and who are eligible for admission according to these rules will have to produce a certificate of eligibility from Sardar Patel University to which the college affiliated. (All candidates, other than those passing HSC Examination of Gujarat H.S.C.E. Board will have to produce this certificate).
ix. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected and no correspondence thereof would be entertained.
x. Applications with all enclosures should be sent to the Dean/Principal of the respective institution at the address given at the bottom of this page or before the due date.
xi. Admission is subject to the verification of the eligibility/documents by the University / Admission committee appointed by the Govt. of Gujarat.
xii. Differences of opinion and disputes arising in the interpretation and implementation of the clauses in the Prospectus, if any, will be referred to the Chairman, Charutar Arogya Mandal.
xiii. The rules contained in the prospectus and / or any change in rules by competent authority, which would be timely updated on the website, would apply for admission and to all rounds of counseling as may be applicable.
Payment of Tuition Fees:
M.B.B.S. COURSE: Students admitted to the course shall pay non-refundable fees of US $100,000 OR Rs. 55 lakhs, for the entire course to be paid in a single installment or in a maximum of Five (5) equal installments in dollar / rupee subject to a minimum of Rs. 11 Lakhs per installment, whichever is higher in rupee value at the time of payment, within a period of 4 years

SMIMER 2015 NRI medical admission

SURAT MUNICIPAL INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION & RESEARCH - SMIMER 2015-16

Surat has two medical colleges, one government and one corporation medical college. The SMIMER is corporation run medical college. It has 75% goovernment quota nad 15% NRI and 10% management quota seats. The authority has advertized the 15% NRI admission in all newspaper. The admission forms are available online and in physical form from college.

The tuition fees for total duration of course (i.e. 09  terms)  will  be US  $ 1,00,000  (US  Dollars 
one lack  only)  as  per  the permission of competent authorities. 
The above fees shall be payable in five (05) equal instalments of US $ 20,000 (US Dollars
twenty thousand only) per year. First installment of tuition fee shall be paid at the time of
admission and thereafter every year in the month of July only.
Tuition fees should be paid in US Dollars only through the NRI account by Demand Draft/
Electronic Transfer in favour of “Commissioner, Surat Municipal Corporation” payable at
Surat, Gujarat. 

Eligibility will be subject to ‐ 
  The rules and regulations framed by the Admission Committee for the Professional
Medical Educational Courses/Government of Gujarat regarding admissions for the
academic year 2015.
  The Medical Council of India (MCI) norms

1.  a)  Non Resident Indian students/ students whose parents are Non‐ Resident
Indians or in absence of his parents, his legal guardians are Non‐Resident
Indians.
  b)  Students who are dependents of Non‐Resident Indians for the educational
purpose supported by the necessary proof.
  c)  The  candidate  who  is  dependent on  Non‐Resident  Indian  shall  have to
produce  necessary  proof  in  support thereof to the satisfaction of  the
concerned college or institution.
  d)  ‘Dependent of Non‐Resident Indian’, it would not be enough that a candidate
produces willingness of the sponsor to pay his/her fees for the course in
question. It would be necessary for the candidate to show in what manner
he/she claims to be dependent of the NRI.
  e)  A  candidate  would  have  to  produce  before  the  authority  materials
suggesting that in the past also for his/her education and other related
requirements, he/she was dependent on such sponsor and that the parents
do  not  have  economic  means  to  provide  for  necessary  fees  and  other
expenditure for the course in question.
2.  The student must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
and English individually and must   have obtained minimum of 50% marks taken
together in  Physics, Chemistry and Biology (in theory) at  the  qualifying
examination as prescribed by the MCI/VNSGU/Government of Gujarat.
3.  a)  The NRI student passing 12th
(10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology &
English must have Equivalent Certificate from the Association of Indian
Universities.
  b)  In case of (1) ‘b’ category (dependent) he/she must have passed qualifying
examination as under: Candidate  must  have  obtained  a  minimum  of 
50%  marks  in  Physics,  Chemistry,  Biology  and  any  other  elective
subjects with English in the qualifying examination of the respective
board as prescribed by MCI“.

2.  All the application form must be accompanied with an amount of Rs.20, 000/‐
(Rs. twenty thousand only) as application and processing fee in cash/demand draft
(DD drawn in favour of "Commissioner, Surat  Municipal Corporation” payable at
Surat).
3.  The  application  form  duly  filled  and  signed,  together  with  all the  relevant
documents and the requisite fee of Rs.20,000/‐(Rs. twenty thousand only) can be
submitted personally or through registered post at the following address so as to
reach on or before the prescribed last date.

4.  The  last  date  of  submission  of  the  duly  filled  application  form along with
requisite documents is 6th  July 2015 (upto 05.00 PM)
5.  Incomplete application form will not be accepted.
6.  In   case   of   Non   Resident   Indian   Students   (passed   qualifying examination
outside India) all certificates must be duly attested and stamped by the Indian
Embassy of the concerned country

Documents
Photocopies of documents to be attached with the application
Application will be considered only if the following photocopies attached are duly
attested.

1.  School Leaving Certificate of student establishing that the student has completed
17 years as on 31‐12‐2015 (i.e. those who are born before 01.01.1998).
2.  HSCE or equivalent examination marks‐sheet (in case of bonafide NRI, the
grading  should  be  converted  to  the  equivalent  marks  as  per  mark sheet of
Gujarat Higher Secondary School Examination from the parent school / college
itself)    and the certificates of passing and attempt.
3.  Provisional eligibility certificate from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University
(where applicable).
4.  Transcript  from  the  respective  school/board/university  and  Equivalence  
Certificate   from   Association   of   Indian   Universities (where applicable i.e.
student from foreign country).
5.  Affidavit  given  by  NRI  student/parent/guardian  stating  his/her Residential
status as per Income Tax Act 1961/FEMA.
6.  Any  evidence    like  Residential  proof,  copy  of  citizenship,  salary certificate or
certificate from the employer etc. to establish the present status  as    NRI  on 
whom  the  student  is  dependent  for  educational purpose.
7.  Affidavit given by concerned NRI proposing to undertake responsibility  for
paying tuition fees / medical education of student.
8.  Affidavit (on non‐judicial stamp paper of Rs.  100,  attested  before executive
magistrate or government notary) along with supportive documents given by
either  of  parents/grandparents    of  student    or  student    he/she  is major
regarding relationship with the NRI, and in what manner the student claims to
be dependent on NRI, who is to take responsibility for paying tuition fees of 
student  and  they  do  not  have  economic  means  to  provide  the necessary
fees and other expenditure for the course.
9.  Affidavit along with supportive documents by the NRI/ Parent/Student that NRI
sponsor has been supporting the said student in the past for educational and
related matters.
10.  Attested copy of the nationality and citizenship of NRI parents/NRI student/ NRI
Guardian and copies of documents and all the pages of passport (including blank
pages) showing his/her status as NRI.
11.  Medical certificate of fitness as per requirement of the Council.
12.  Indemnity Bond by parent/ Guardian as applicable.
