In compliance of the Order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 23/03/2012 passed in I.A No. 16/2012 in Civil Appeal No. 1944 of 1993 - Anand S.Biji Vs State of Kerala & Others and in order to comply with the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 09/5/2017 passed in Writ Petition© No.267 of 2017 –Dar-Us-Slam Educational Trust & Ors Vs MCI & Ors. Directorate General of health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has been entrusted with the responsibility to hold on-line counseling for 50% All India Quota Post-Graduate Medical and Dental seats and also as per the notification issued by the MCI for common counseling
MCC will conduct counseling for the following Institutions/Universities:-
a) 50 % All India Quota seats for all State Govt. medical/dental colleges/institutes, except state of Jammu and Kashmir as per merit of PG NEET 2018. 
b) For all PG seats of the Deemed Universities as per merit of PG NEET 2018. 
c) 50 % institutional quota seats for Central Universities of Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, and Banaras Hindu University. 
d) PG counseling for institutes of Armed Forces Medical Services. 
e) The state Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana are participating in online counseling of All India Quota from the academic year 2018-19 onwards.
Students may note the following points:-
❖ Online Counselling for the above courses is likely to start as per Schedule. 
❖ There will be non-refundable registration and refundable tuition fee at the time of registration.

Eligibility for Admission to Post Graduate Courses (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS)-2018 at Central Institutions/Universities (AMU/BHU and Delhi University) through Central Counseling under Institutional Quota

Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi - Only those candidates who have passed MBBS from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi on or after 31st December- 2016 and have completed compulsory rotator internship before 31.03.2018 will be considered for admission to MD/MD course-2018 in IMS, BHU under internal (institutional quota) pool, provided the candidate has appeared and qualified in NEET- PG 2018 examination. Candidates who are already pursuing MD/MS course in IMS, BHU through internal (institutional) quota OR passed MBBS from Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU in earlier academic years (i.e. before 31st December 2016) are not eligible for admission to PG Course - 2018 under BHU internal (institutional) quota.

Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh - An Institutional (internal) candidate is one who has passed the qualifying examination conducted by this university (Aligarh Muslim University) as a regular student not earlier than THREE (03) academic years from the date of admission to the course he/she is seeking admission to. All other candidates shall be treated as External. For admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma/ MDS courses, 2018 in the Faculty of Medicine, candidates who complete their Internship between April 01, 2015 and March 31, 2018 (both days inclusive) shall be considered as internal candidates.

Colleges under Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, Delhi- The candidate must have passed final MBBS examination (for MD/MS/Diploma course) and BDS examination (for MDS Course) from the University of Delhi and must have completed satisfactorily one year compulsory rotating internship as on 31.03.2018 and must submit their internship completion certificate at the time of admission.


ADMISSION TO POST GRADUATE COURSES (MD/MS/DMM) AT AFMS INSTITUTIONS THROUGH CENTRAL COUNSELING UNDER DGHS FOR THE YEAR 2018

Eligibility- Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) conducts Advance Specialist/ Post Graduate training primarily for the doctors of Armed Forces Medical Services. The candidates eligible to apply for MD/MS/DMM seats at various AFMS PG institutions are (in order of preference):- (a) Priority-I - Eligible serving officers of the AFMS. (b) Priority- II- Foreign students sponsored by Govt. (c) Priority-III -Medical officers sponsored by Para Military Forces/ other Govt. of India organizations. (Performa attached below at Annexure-A). (d) Priority-IV- Ex-SSC AFMS officers released from service after completion of contractual service, within three years after the release from service i.e., the date of release should not be before 01 May 2015 or after 30 Apr 2018 for the session starting from May 2018. Officers who have resigned the commission/dismissed/removed from service/ not completed the contractual service are NOT ELIGIBLE under this category. (e) Priority-V- Civilian doctors willing to serve in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) for 05 years after completion of the course subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The candidates will have to execute a bond agreement to pay a sum of Rupees Twenty Nine Lakhs only (Rs. 29,00,000/-) to Govt of India at the time of admission, in case unwilling to join AFMS, when offered commission on completion of the course.

PG Courses are available in following AFMS institutions:- (a) Armed Forces Medical College, Pune (b) Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Delhi Cantt (c) INHS Asvini, Mumbai (d) Command Hospital (Air Force), Bangalore (e) Command Hospital(Eastern Command), Kolkata (f) Command Hospital (Western Command), Chandimandir (g) Command Hospital (Central Command), Lucknow (h) Institute of Aerospace Medicine, Bangalore

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (a) A candidate must be a citizen of India (except Priority II candidates). (b) Age criteria:- (i) AFMS officers: As per extant training rules of AFMS. (ii) Sponsored candidates: As per Govt. of India rules. (iii) Civilian candidates: Maximum permissible age will be 35 years as on 30 Apr 2018 (c) Candidates must have MBBS Degree registered with State Medical Council or MCI. Students who have completed/ are completing internship by 30 Mar 2018 are eligible to apply along with provisional registration certificate. (d) The candidate must have appeared in NEET-PG 2018 and scored a minimum of marks at 50th percentile. (e) There is no reservation based on caste/religion etc. and the selection will be purely on the basis of merit. (f) Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are eligible for admission to PG courses at AFMS institutions. (g) A candidate who is already pursuing any post graduate course shall not be eligible for admission to another PG course in the academic year 2018-19. (h) The number of candidates to be admitted in any discipline will be determined by the number of PG teachers available, the student-teacher ratio and any other criteria laid down by the MCI/affiliated universities from timeto-time. The exact number of available seats will be communicated to the counselling committee prior to counselling session. (i) Candidates admitted will have a service liability/bond liability binding as per Govt. of India instructions on the subject. The merit position of the candidates shall be declared in due course after applying the
tie-breaker criteria as given in the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2018.

In accordance with the eligibility criteria for admission to Post Graduate course as
mentioned in the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2018, the cut off scores for various

NEET 2018 application date declared 

National Bard of Examination has declared NEET 2018 application for eligible students. Eligibility criteria are as follow
Students who are having MBBS degree or provisional degree and passed form recognized medical college from MCI
Student must completed one year rotating internship or who are going to complete on or before 31st March 2018
These group students can apply through online application process.

ELIGIBILITY CRITIERIAFOR FOREIGN MEDICALGRADUATES
Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical
Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the Foreign
Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) which is conducted by National
Board of Examinations. Further, they should have been registered with MCI/SMC
and should have completed their internship or likely to complete their internship on or
before 31.03.2018.
Foreign Medical Graduates are required to bring their FMGE Pass certificate issued
by NBE on their testing day.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAFOR FOREIGN NATIONALS IN NEET-PG 2018.
It is not mandatory for foreign nationals to have temporary registration with MCI at
the time of writing NEET-PG. Foreign Nationals can write NEET-PG without MCI
registration. The Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for
registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Graduate course
limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time
being exclusively for pursuing postgraduate studies. Provided further that temporary
registration to such foreign national shall be subject to the condition that such person
is duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his own country where from
he has obtained his Basic Medical qualification, and is duly recognized by the
corresponding Medical Council or concerned authority.”

NEET-PG 2018 shall be a single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to
Postgraduate Medical Courses’ for the academic session 2018 which will include the
following:
i. All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses (all States except Andhra
Pradesh*, Telangana* and Jammu & Kashmir)
ii. State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all States/Union territories of
India (including the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Jammu & Kashmir)
iii. MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions &
Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country
iv. MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.

v. DNB Broad specialty courses (January 2018 Admission Session)

Demo Test : A demo test shall be available for the benefit of candidates to familiarize
themselves with the Computer Based Test format at website www.nbe.edu.in .

Applicants will be able to access the Demo test from 15th December 2017 onwards.



NEET 2018 date declared 

Exmination date will be 7th Jan 2018. One day examination for all students.

NEET PG 2018 needs Aadhar Number for exam

This year NBE has made compulsory requirment of Aadhar number for NEET PG examination. All students need to get Aadhar number.
So all students are requested to get aadhar before apply.
NRI may have issue with Aadhar. Hope it will not proble for NRI students




Neet PG for year 2018 will be in one slot and with negative marking.
National Board of Examination has announced on 27th Sept that this year onward NEET PG has few changes.
1. THis year onward NEET PG will be conducted online computer based test in single setting and all students will have one single test paper.
2. Correct response will get 4 marks and wrong answer will get 1 mark. Not attempted will get zero marks.

This year 2018, NEET PG can write by NRI and even foreign students also. On 2nd June 2017, Government has clarify that for writing NEET PG NRI and foreign students do not require MCI registration. But they need to take temporary registration form MCI after getting admission till they complete MD course.
NRI and foreign can write PG NEET examination.
