CONSORTIUM OF SELF FINANCED MEDICAL COLLEGES OF GUJARAT is announced this year with two medical colleges namely

They are inviting aplication for the admission of NRI or NRI sponsor seats at their colleges. they have devised the method of admission for NRI and Management quota. But at present admission announced for NRI quota.
NRI/NRI sponsored quota admission for I MBBS in academic year 2015 Seats and Tuition Fees of respective Institutes for 2015 are as under

CUSMC- 16 lack per year
Candidates seeking admission should have completed 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission. Under aged candidates are not eligible to apply
Eligibility: The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtain minimum 50% together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. The relevant MCI, Government of Gujarat and Admission Committee rules will apply
NRI students who have passed qualifying examination from Countries other than India and other International Boards and have secured a minimum of grades equivalent to 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in High School Diploma qualifying examination, equivalent to 10 + 2 education pattern should obtain and produce “Equivalence Certificate” from Association of Indian Universities, AIU House, Kotla Marg, New Delhi – 110002. This is a mandatory requirement, except CBSE Board. (Genuine NRI please Refer to table below for reference only).
A candidate desiring admission should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C.) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) or any other examination equal to 10 + 2 HSC examination of any recognized Board/University from any school / college situated in Gujarat after 12 years of study at one and same attempt, as per regulation in force
Admission on the Non-Resident Indian seats shall be given by the Consortium on the basis of merit list of the candidates who have applied for admission in the following manner, namely:- (i) The candidate who is Non-Resident Indian as also the candidate whose parents and in the absence of his/her parents, his/her legal guardian who is NonResident Indian, shall be offered the Non-Resident Indian quota of seats in the order of preference; (a) Merit list of NRI who are domicile of Gujarat. (b) Merit list of NRI who are not domicile of Gujarat. (i) And thereafter, the Non-Resident Indian seats, if remains vacant, shall be offered to the candidate who is dependant of the Non-Resident Indian; in the order of preference (c) Merit list of dependent NRI who are domicile of Gujarat. (d) Merit list of dependent NRI who are not domicile of Gujarat. (ii) The candidate whose guardian is Non-Resident Indian shall have to produce necessary proof to the satisfaction of the College establishing that in the absence of his/her parents, the concerned person has been legally appointed as his /her guardian; and , (iii) The candidate who is dependent of the Non-Resident Indian shall have to produce necessary proof in support thereof to the satisfaction of the College
